Tuesday, March 28, 2023: This morning, right before I left my friend’s house in Eugene, I pulled the Hanged Man. Nestled between Justice and Death this is a card for lingering, taking a pause. Little did I know that a few hours later I would be taking a pause in Ashland with Interstate 5 closed. This morning, after pulling The Hanged Man, I invoked the 2 of Wands. This card is a portal between worlds. Traveling is a liminal state, traveling is a portal between where you started and where you are going. Like all portals you have choices, you can go or you can stay — or you can take the third option. Like a cat, you can stand in the middle of the door, in the liminal space between the worlds of going and staying. Monday, March 20, 2023: Yesterday Sue flew into Seattle, so we are together now on this road trip. This morning I pulled the Devil.
