Mortality

Thursday, March 23, 2023: This morning I pulled the 3 of Swords. For me this is a card of loss and heartbreak. But, it's also a card of necessary loss. It is, after all, the Empress expressed in the element of air. A mother knows some losses come in life and that birth, mortality and loss in fact defines life. Everything has a beginning, a middle and an end. Suffering, after all, is a noble truth. I’m invoking The Empress.
