Choice


Thursday, March 3, 2023: Today I pulled the Two of Swords. This, for me, is the High Priestess manifesting in the realm of air. I call this the shit or get off the pot card. All the twos are decision points. The High Priestess guides us through life, she reveals the path. This two challenges us to be vulnerable. We are facing our fears and our insecurities. It’s easy to sit on the fence, easier than risking. I’m invoking the “Listening For Truth” oracle card and remembering the words of Emily Dickinson, “If your nerve deny you, go above your nerve.”

This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
