Sunday, March 19, 2023: I pulled The Lovers on this day because, well, of course I did! I’m invoking the three of Cups because I reject the binary notions of love as only being between two people and only being of two types — friends or lovers. So many memories from this weekend. Is that the Hermit I see peeking out? Perhaps reminding me of the wonderful opportunity in the long drive ahead to savor the memories that have just entered my life.

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
