Grace

Tuesday, January 21, 2025: Today I pulled Temperance. For me this card is a reminder to be balanced in all things. It's easy to get fixated on things and even to become addictive/compulsive about behaviors. Temperance comes just before the Devil in the Major Arcana and it provides an opportunity to avoid the traps laid by shame and instability and to moderate our approach to life. I am invoking The Elder Swan oracle card. This card calls to us to embrace our beauty and grace and to see that we have nothing to be ashamed of. We're beautiful just as we are.

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
