Turning

Tuesday, December 31, 2024: The last day of the year I pulled The Wheel of Fortune. This is a card about time. The Wheel reflects the turning nature of time and the seasons. In the Bible, is Ecclesiastes 3:1, which reads: "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven." The wheel doesn't just turn round and round, it changes direction too.

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
