Solstice

Today is the Winter Solstice. Tomorrow we'll have a bit more light. Thus begins the emergence of the light. Today I pulled Judgement. We're usually our own harshest judges. If we are to emerge we need to look at ourselves with the love and compassion we give to others. We may find that that which we shame ourselves about is really a very beautiful thing that defines who we are. I am invoking Emergence!

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
