Sunday, April 21, 2024: Today I pulled the Ten of Cups. The tens, for me, mark a completion of a journey and a new beginning of a new phase of life. Today is the 33rd anniversary of the car accident. Candy was 33 when she died. She’s been dead about as long as she lived. The ten of Cups is about love and family and I spent the day with our son. I am invoking the wheel and recognizing the cycles of life.

Saturday, January 28, 2023: On this day I pulled the High Priestess (HP). The HP is the third card in the Major Arcana and the second card The Fool encounters. First, the Magician tells the Fool that there is a magical force and that when you set an intention above it has effect on the physical plane below. The HP comes next telling the Fool there is a way for you, a path yours alone to aspire too. The HP does not tell the Fool what lay ahead. It is the Fool's journey to take. I am invoking the Three of Wands from the Shadowscapes Tarot. This particular expression of the Three of Wands speaks deeply to me of the need to follow a path in life secure in the knowledge that what you need, and need to know, will be right there when you need it.
