Lightning


Wednesday, January 3, 2024: Today I pulled The Tower. I often think of this card like Lightning. Lightning is random. While typically destructive it can also open up unexpected possibilities. Lightning can remove obstacles and free you from constraints. Loosing a job, a partner, or a rental, can lead to a much better situation! I am invoking lightning with an open and curious mind. I am reminding myself this isn’t chosen but it’s necessary.

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
