Tempering


Sunday, December 17, 2023: This card always brings me joy. It makes me think of a dear friend and it makes me think of the journey of life.
The World is an ending and a beginning. It's like the Fool but The World is not a fool. This beginning reflects a more mature and aware person, entering into the next journey after emerging from a previous journey, more aware of their power and their vulnerability. This traveler is tempered. This is a seasoned traveler.

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
