Partners


Sunday, December 24, 2023: The Lovers in the element of water. Today I pulled the 6 of Cups. All the sixes involve forms of passionate commitment. They are journeys. This six is an, or many, loving relationships. I believe relationships are core to being human. Friends and families are partners too and we are our own primary partners. This card is about loving partners, present and past, in all aspects, as I read it. There’s a lot of nostalgia here.

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
