Shapeshifting



Sunday, November 19, 2023: This morning I pulled the Eight of Wands. For me that’s Strength manifesting in the element of fire. Strength in this context to me means more than just being strong. To me it means being in alignment in mind, body and spirit. So often we are not aligned and we are our own biggest obstacle. This reading is about channeling our own energy and getting out of our own way. We can be a shape shifter.

This card is a shapeshifter card that calls on me to use my strength and clear my mind of negativity and use the powers of the mind to escape the snare. I am invoking the Elder Spider oracle card, calling the spider to be on my side. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
