Justice

Saturday, September 23, 2023: This morning I pulled the Justice Card from the Modern Love Tarot. I am invoking the Justice Card from the Meryl Tarot. In the movie The Giver people are deprived of grief, envy, love and even color to spare them from suffering and pain. The community is ruled by the Chief Elder who rules ruthlessly. It’s a reminder that pain as well as love is an important part of being human and that a concept of justice that is too stern can be inhumane.
