Worry


Friday, August 25, 2023: Today I pulled the 9 of Swords. This is a card of worry. It’s easy to think of the worst possible scenario. But, while we can’t always choose the cards we are dealt we can choose how to play them. I’m invoking the “Be the Hunter, Not the Hunted” oracle card. I decide to move forward.

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
