Emperor


Saturday, August 26, 2023: Normally the Emperor is one of my least favorite cards because I associate it with my father and toxic masculinity. But, now I pulled it again. I have been having problems with my health and it’s an energy I need to embrace. I need to take charge, face the situation and trust myself.

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
