Wounds


Monday, July 17, 2023: This morning I pulled The Devil. The Devil has power over us that we have given away. The Devil binds us with shame, with feelings of inadequacy through imposter syndrome and much more. The Devil’s power often comes from childhood trauma and being a victim of emotional, verbal and/or physical abuse. The only one who can free us is ourselves. We are called to release the dark wound, let love grow.

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
