Truth


Sunday, July 9, 2023: The Queen of Swords is called the mask cutter. She sees through obfuscation and gaslighting. She’s powerful. Seeing the truth can be hard. It can bring up a lot of pain. The truth, it is said, hurts. But, this Queen teaches us that we need to be honest with ourselves in order to trust ourselves and others.

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
