Pause


Thursday, July 20, 2023: Taking a pause to rest, gather your thoughts and to contemplate the situation. That’s the card I pulled today, the Four of Swords. While life may seem chaotic and others may be pressing you to mend their life, the truth is you are the only person you can heal, the only person you can save is yourself. Take time for yourself. See the beauty and the perfection of your life and have the determination to live it because here you are and this right now is what you got.

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
