Impermanence


Tuesday, February 14, 2023: Today I pulled the 10 of Pentacles. This is the Wheel expressed in the realm of Earth. It can be seen as completing a circle of life, or starting a new one. Being in the element of Earth it can be seen as material success. It’s an easy card to get comfortable in. But, it must always be remembered, wheels turn. I am invoking the Wheel card from the Major Arcana. This is a card that tells the story of impermanence. Enjoy the here and now, cherish it more, knowing that everything has a beginning, a middle and an ending. Such is the nature of the universe.

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
