Friday, February 10, 2023: This morning I pulled the Devil. To me this card is about the things we bind ourselves and give energy to: typically compulsion and shame. I am invoking the Three of Cups. This is logical family for me: the biological and chosen loves who love and accept us just as we are and just as we are not. The best cure for shame is acceptance and celebration.

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
