Beginning


This morning I pulled The Fool. This is the start of a whole new journey. It differs from rebirth. It’s all new territory. I’m feeling like this about last month’s Covid and this month’s launch into post-Covid (a.k.a. Long Covid, which may not be Covid at all.) I’m chronically tired now. I’m learning to pace myself. I’m invoking “Bring It Into Form” as I learn to navigate this new me and to manage my own expectations that are based on a person I no longer am.

Sunday, April 20, 2025: Today I pulled the Hermit. For me this is a card of inward reflection. The important thing is look at yourself and reflect on who you are now. This is not who the world expects you to be or who you were yesterday. Friday, February 24, 2023: Today I pulled the Hanged Man. For me this is a card of taking time and consideration of different perspectives. It’s between the powerful cards of Justice and Death in the Major Arcana. I’m invoking the Princess of Swords. I call this the mindfulness card. I read the Page/Princess cards as cards of having a beginner’s mind.
